The New Mexico Cancer Center was constructed in 2001 with one of the primary design goals to surround patients and staff with beauty and light. The center was constructed as a living art gallery as well as a medical facility, filled with stunning, high-quality art, many created by local artists. The art is an integral part of the philanthropic efforts of the NM Cancer Center Foundation, dedicated to supporting patients coping with the non-medical costs of having cancer and other life-disrupting illnesses. In addition to financial assistance, the mission of Gallery with a Cause is to make the experience of being treated at the NM Cancer Center as supportive and warm as possible.

The Art of Quarantine Exhibition showcases how creativity helped artists cope during the COVID pandemic. The show, running from February 22 through March 21, 2021 featured my objective abstract paintings inspired by the spectral luminosity of the night skies. This subject reflected my spiritual transformations during the dark night of the COVID pandemic—mystery, beauty, and hope, which would emerge into a new golden dawn.
